The 33rd national conference of the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) began in Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, with a stirring call to the peasantry of the country to unitedly fight back the process of corporatisation of agriculture deliberately unleashed by the UPA government. It also pledged to strive to build a powerful united kisan movement against the anti-farmer neo-liberal policies of the government.
